How teams can fund the project without dumping the chart.
Most teams avoid selling because nobody wants to be the red candle. A monthly budget, sold only when buyers come in and shown in public, pays the bills in a way holders can live with.

A project pays salaries, audits and infrastructure in dollars, and a large part of what it owns is its own token. Selling some of it is how the project gets funded.
Yet many teams don't sell at all. A team wallet market-selling is the worst news a chart can get: one red candle, a screenshot of the wallet, and a community asking whether the team is leaving. So the treasury stays in the token while the runway gets shorter, or the team sells quietly and hopes nobody looks.
What usually goes wrong
One large market sell. The team pays the price impact, and holders remember the candle.
Selling quietly through other wallets. Everything on-chain can be traced, and when someone finds it, it looks worse than the sale itself.
Market sells on a fixed schedule. Each one still hits the bids, and a sale that repeats like clockwork is easy for bots to anticipate.
OTC. It needs a buyer who wants your token, usually at a discount, and on smaller caps there often isn't one.
A monthly budget, sold into buy demand
Decide what the project needs each month in dollars, and sell that much, not more. Place it just above the price: it sells only when buyers come in and lift the price into it, little on quiet days, more on strong ones. The team never market-sells into the bids, so there is no red candle from the team wallet.
A month's budget is one or more sales, each running up to a week. Fills aren't guaranteed, so in a quiet month the budget may sell slowly or only in part. Keep a buffer of runway instead of counting on a date.
What makes it community-friendly
It only sells to buyers. The tokens sit above the price and are taken when someone buys. They are still supply the price has to get through, but the team is not the one pushing it down.
It's capped. A stated budget for the month, not an open-ended exit.
It's in public. Share the sale's page: anyone can follow its progress, and every transaction links to the explorer.
It can wait for a level. A Target sale waits for a market cap you choose, and an ASAP sale can take a floor so it doesn't follow the price below a level you set.
Month by month with Unwind

Check the token. Pick it in the ticket: it shows whether it can be sold on its network and an estimate of how long the sale may take.
- 02
Set the month's amount, the pace and where proceeds go. ASAP follows the market, Target waits for a market cap, Range scales out across a band. The minimum sale is $25 on Base and BNB Chain, and $50 on Robinhood Chain.
- 03
Send the tokens to your Unwind wallet from the treasury wallet. The sending network's gas is on you; Unwind pays the gas for placing and closing positions.
- 04
Get paid when it ends, then repeat. Proceeds, in the network's stablecoin or its native coin, and anything unsold go to your receiving address. Every fill is on-chain with its own link, which makes the month easy to report. Next month, start the next sale.
Tell holders before you start
Holders tolerate treasury sales they can see and understand. A short post is enough: how much the team sells each month, what it pays for, and the link to the sale page.
Then the sale is a known, bounded budget, not a surprise candle. How anyone reads it is still up to them, but it is far easier to explain than a sale someone finds later.
Questions
Will the price still move?
Your tokens are supply the price has to get through, so buyers lift it less than they would without your sale. What it avoids is the market sell: the team never pushes the price down into the bids. Neither a price nor a fill is guaranteed.
What if buyers don't come this month?
Nothing is forced. Whatever hasn't sold when the sale ends goes back to your receiving address, with no fee on it, and you can start a new sale. You can also stop anytime, with the same result.
Where do the proceeds go?
To the receiving address you set: your connected wallet, an address you paste, or the wallet you sent from. A pasted address has to be a regular wallet, not a contract. Proceeds are paid on the sale's network: USDC or ETH on Base, USDG or ETH on Robinhood Chain, USDT or BNB on BNB Chain.
What does it cost?
0.5% of what sells, nothing on what comes back unsold. Unwind pays the gas for placing and closing positions; sending the tokens in is on you.
Sell into demand.
Place your tokens above the price and let buyers take them. 0.5% only on what sells.
