Why can't I sell my token?
The usual reasons a token won't sell, from an empty pool to a token that taxes transfers, and what to do about each.

Wrong network. The same name can exist on several chains. Check the contract address and the network your wallet is on.
No gas. Selling needs the network's coin for the transaction: ETH on Base and Robinhood Chain, BNB on BNB Chain.
Slippage too tight. On a thin or fast pool, a swap fails when the price moves more than your tolerance. Raising it means accepting a worse price.
A copy of the token. Look the contract up on the explorer and compare it with the project's official links.
When the pool is the problem
Most cases come down to the pool. No liquidity means there's nothing to sell into. Thin liquidity means you can sell, but at a steep price impact. No buyers means nobody is taking the other side while you wait.
Estimate the price impact before you sell into a thin pool.
When the token itself blocks it
Some tokens take a tax on every transfer, block selling for some wallets, or can be paused by their owner. Those rules live in the token's contract. Check it on the explorer, and be wary of a token whose sells always fail: that's the classic sign of a honeypot.
What Unwind checks first
Unwind checks the pool before you send anything, so most pools it can't sell in are caught up front. If a check fails, the ticket says which one.
- 01
A supported pool: Uniswap v3 or v4, and on BNB Chain also PancakeSwap v3 or Infinity. Uniswap v2 and PancakeSwap v2 pools aren't supported. A v4 or Infinity pool is used only if its hook doesn't run when liquidity is removed, or runs a hook Unwind has reviewed.
- 02
At least $25,000 of liquidity in the pool.
- 03
Over $1,000 traded in the last 24 hours and at least one buy in the last day.
- 04
A way to cash out: the pool's other token has to be one Unwind can convert to the network's stablecoin.
Tokens that tax or block transfers aren't caught up front. If the pool refuses the sale's position after your deposit, the sale pauses with your tokens in your Unwind wallet, and you can cancel it. A token that blocks transfers can block that too, so check the contract before you sell.
Questions
My token passed yesterday and fails today. Why?
Liquidity and trading change by the hour. A pool that had buyers yesterday may have none today. Try again when the market is active.
Which networks does Unwind sell on?
Base, Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain.
Sell into demand.
Place your tokens above the price and let buyers take them. 0.5% only on what sells.
